SHOUT understands that governance in particular can be difficult for Boards/Committees to understand and work through. SHOUT works closely with other organisaitons to develop and facilitate governance workshops to build much needed capacity in this area.

GOVERNANCE TRAINING
Torrien Lau, CEO SHOUT will be facilitating Governance Training on Wednesday, 6th November 2024.
This short 2 hour workshop will cover all areas of Board Governance and includes:
- Governance Compliance and Risk
- Contemporary Board Agendas
- Board culture, Director expectations and decision making.
Torrien has 12 years of CEO and public officer experience. He is also a Board member of a local charity and Chair of the Governance committee. Torrien has experience in amending constitutions, writing governance manuals and governance policy.
Guest speaker -Time Dingwall
Tim is an experienced lawyer with expertise in governance, NFP, contracts and compliance. Tim will be available for a Q&A during the training session.
